Cheap Flights from USA to Europe This Spring, Starting at…

Americans hoping to book an affordable spring getaway in Europe still have airfare options, thanks to Aer Lingus.

Ireland’s flagship carrier has rolled out a fresh batch of discounted flights for round-trip service between the United States and Ireland for dates from March into June. Ticket prices currently start as low as $389, according to the airline. And that covers both getting there and coming back as well as taxes and fees.

That lowest price is for flights between New York City (JFK) and Dublin (DUB) during select dates in April, and between Boston (BOS) and Dublin for select dates in May.

Comparable transatlantic flights we found for the same routes and time frames operated by other airlines were usually about $100 more for the Boston route in May and pushing $200 more for April flights between New York and Dublin.

Aer Lingus, which has been adjusting its U.S. presence lately with new nonstop flights to Ireland from Denver and Minneapolis, also has pretty good deals available at the moment to Dublin from Chicago O’Hare (starting around $550 in April), Cleveland (starting at $528 in April), and the Washington, D.C., area (starting at $512 from Dulles in late March/early April).

You don’t have to make Ireland your final destination, either. Relying on Aer Lingus’s route network for the rest of Europe, you can connect from Dublin to cities such as London, Paris, Amsterdam, and Rome. For example, round-trip economy flights between Cleveland and Amsterdam for dates from March 10 through 26 are currently selling for less than $400.

To find the airline’s lowest fares, go to the Latest Offers page of the Aer Lingus website. You’ll see airfares listed there, or you can use the interactive route map to find the best deals. (That’s how we discovered the Cleveland–Amsterdam offer.)

Note that some of the deals we’ve highlighted here may no longer be available when you search. Ticket prices listed are for economy class and may include connections with partner airlines. Additional charges for optional services such as checked baggage will apply.
